$160 per 55 Minute Session
The set cost for a therapy session with Dr. Cox is $160 per session. This is the standard rate and applies for assessment, individual therapy or family sessions. Session fees are conveniently collected by providing a credit/debit card which is run through the secure electronic health records platform SimplePractice.com Should a client request a longer than normal session, the cost can be prorated on a 15 minute basis. Dr. Cox does not offer sliding scale fees. Dr. Cox can also assist in identifying insurance providers who offer reimbursement for sessions and can provide billing statements that can be submitted for that purpose. Dr. Cox has many years of addressing insurance considerations and can help offer clarity and assistance to clients seeking reimbursement.
Scheduling appointments with Dr. Cox
During the initial free phone consultation, Dr. Cox can provide more details about the nature of scheduling appointments. Given the flexibility of online counseling, Dr. Cox can offer a number of convenient session times throughout the week. Both morning and evening appointments are available. Though there can be late cancellation or no show fees for missed sessions, often with advance notice the session times or days can be quickly adjusted to address changes in your schedule. The convenience of online counseling means that as long as you have a good internet connection and a private location, you can have sessions at home, work or even when traveling. Dr. Cox is very responsive to communication to make sure that scheduling matters can be addressed in a prompt fashion.

Costs per session can often be reimbursed by your PPO/Out-of-network insurance plan.
Part or all of the cost of your sessions may be reimbursed by your insurance provider. Assistance is offered in understanding your insurance plan benefits. Reimbursement can be prompted through submission of a Superbill.
